VDZ Trading B.V. was founded in 1992 by John van der Zanden in Sint-Oedenrode, the Netherlands. What began as a family business focused on the closure of Western European slaughterhouses has grown into one of the world’s leading traders of used and new slaughterhouse and meat-processing equipment. Today, led by Roel van der Zanden, VDZ Trading operates from a 5,000 m² warehouse and supplies clients across more than 50 countries — from individual machines to complete turn-key slaughter lines for red meat, poultry, pork, halal, kosher, rendering, and by-product handling. We believe in going beyond “one-size-fits-all.” We work closely with each customer to select and combine equipment that genuinely fits their facility, budget, and future growth plans.

Second Generation Joins
Roel van der Zanden joins the family business, strengthening the team and expanding VDZ's reach in the international used slaughtering equipment market.
