Sandpiper — Membrane pump
Membrane pump. Pneumatically driven.
This pump can be used for moving fluids that are not homogenous and contain some solids. This type of pump is often used as a blood pump in the slaughtering industry or as a pump for chemicals or sludge in wastewater and other treatment plants.
Sandpiper membrane pump is exclusively designed to fit into tight spaces. Its unique flap check valve design is ideal for pumping fluids containing solids that would clog typical ball valve pumps.
Membrane pump with 2" port size. Can be used for slurries, suspended and non-suspended solids and line-size solids. Suitable for pumping blood, or sludge from a waste water treatment for instance.
