La Parmentiere — Gut shredder
Application
- Removes faecal content and rinses beef, pork, and sheep intestines with cold or lukewarm water.
- Also processes pig bladders, gall bladders, caul fat, and lungs.
- Typical weight loss: ≈ 30 % for beef intestines and up to ≈ 75 % for lighter products.
Process
1. Load a pre-defined batch manually or via stainless-steel manifold, pneumatic gun, column elevator, conveyor, or suction line.
2. A rotating wheel moves the material inside the bowl while a lateral blade opens the intestines.
3. Waste is flushed away through a 114 mm drain beneath the bowl.
